Two days before Christmas my brother and I flew to Canada, to celebrate Christmas and New Years with our family there. Both of us were so excited to finally go home! Despite of major delays because of a massive snow storm in Toronto, we actually managed to catch every flight and arrive on time in the town our family lives in.
On Monday we all went out into the snow to finally get a Christmas tree! Yay!
Life in Canada is such a contrast to living in Berlin - the next town is 30 minutes away, the next neighbour isn't even close enough to see his house. There's no need to hurry or get up early (which I do anyways, thanks to jetlag). The days start with tea and cinnamon buns and a nice, snowy run through the woods behind our house. Life is good!
