I like iced coffee.

The only things to do in this heat, include some kind of cold drink and a body of water nearby. I really like the hot weather, but right now it's pretty exhausting, since it changed from "nice and hot" to a really humid and heavy heat. A couple of days ago I met  up with my friend Anna, to go and try to buy a bike. I had been planing to buy one for a couple of months now, but never ended up doing it. But with the heat hitting in, the subway rides got even more unbearable.. SO: time for a bike - for real this time!
But that day wasn't really successful. The place we went to had already sold all their bikes in my size (and prize rate..). So we ended up drinking iced Latte in one of my favourite Cafés Nest. It's such a nice place to spend afternoons or warm nights- they have the best Mojito I've ever had! (Plus, you can watch the sun setting over the Görlitzer Park.)

Friedrichshafen.

Last week I took the overnight bus to go to Friedrichshafen, which is exactly on the other end of Germany. Overnight bus? To be honest, I was expecting the worst.. a loaded bus, every single one of the 75 places taken by people trying to sleep somehow, including me. BUT - it was completely fine! Since the bus left the station in Berlin around 11:30 at night, I was already dozing of as soon as we hit the highway. Surprisingly I had a pretty good sleep. Did your parents sometimes take you out for a drive when you were a baby, so you would fall asleep? If not, you surely know some kind of commercial including this scenario. That's how it felt! SO - in case you've ever wondered: taking the overnight bus is not as bad as it sounds!
I went to Friedrichshafen, which is a small town at the Bodensee, to visit my older brother, who is studying there. We had some good days together, with good talks and good food, an open air right by the lake and a volleyball tournament (we owned it, of course!). Here are some random pictures, I took.
